As a short break from the series on posthumanism in healthcare (you can find the first two parts on the ParaDoxa substack site), this is the 2nd episode of a regular monthly interview series with a critical healthcare thinker.
In this podcast, I talk with Mershen Pillay. Mershen is an audiologist and speech language therapist, teacher, linguist, rehabilitation professional, champion and critic of the cause of coloniality. Mershen has been blending science and sociology, history and philosophy for more than two decades in South Africa, the UK, UAE, and latterly New Zealand. He is currently a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader in Speech and Language Therapy at Massey University in Auckland, New Zealand.
You can find his Google Scholar profile here.
