Roshan Galvaan is a Professor of Occupational Therapy and Head of the Department of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. Roshan’s work concerns the complexities of human occupation, especially in relation to marginalization and exclusion. Among Roshan’s many publications, she has co-edited two books Concepts in Occupational Therapy: Understanding Southern Perspectives and Partnerships in Action: Transforming learning practices through interdisciplinary collaboration and community engagement, and is this year co-editing the 3rd Critical Physiotherapy reader.
